July 2024 Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of 100.03, up 0.73 percent compared to June

Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for July 2024 is based on NTP calculations with a base year of 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely the rice & secondary crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock and fisheries subsectors.
In July 2024, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP is 100.03 with the NTP for each subsector recorded at 98.31 for the rice-palawija sub-sector (NTP-P), 100.64 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 100.89 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTP-TPR); 108.44 for the livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 92.93 for the fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
There was an increase of 0.73 percent in July 2024 when compared to the NTP for June 2024. This increase in the price index was caused by the development of the received price index which was faster than the paid price. This increase occurred in the Rice-Palawija Crops, People's Plantation Crops and Livestock Subsectors.
In rural areas there was deflation of 0.37 percent. This deflation mainly occurred in the food, beverage and tobacco subgroups.
