Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for June 2024 is based on the NTP calculation with the base year 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely the rice & secondary crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock and fisheries subsectors.
In June 2024, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP was 99.30 with the NTP for each subsector recorded at 97.98 for the rice-palawija sub-sector (NTP-P), 101.21 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 98.59 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTP-TPR); 108.37 for the livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 92.95 for the fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
There was an increase of 0.54 percent in June 2024 when compared to the NTP in May 2024. This increase in the price index was caused by the development of the received price index which was faster than the paid price. This increase occurred in the Community Plantation Crops, Livestock and Fisheries Subsectors.
In rural areas there was inflation of 0.004 percent. This inflation mainly occurred in the transportation subgroup.
