June 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province will be 1.54 percent

Abstract

In June 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province of 1.54 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.69. The highest inflation occurred in Maumere at 2.19 percent with a CPI of 106.13 and the lowest occurred in South Central Timor Regency at 0.02 percent with a CPI of 104.64.
y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.07 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.81 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.06 percent; health group by 0.58 percent; transportation group by 1.24 percent; recreation, sports, and culture groups by 0.34 percent; education group by 0.12 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 4.14 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 6.03 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index, namely: household equipment, equipment, and routine maintenance by 0.02 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.71 percent.
There was month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province for the June 2024 period of 0.23 percent. Meanwhile, the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in East Nusa Tenggara Province in June 2024 is 0.51 percent.
