The economy of East Nusa Tenggara in 2019 grow 5.20 percent

Abstract

• The economy of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) based on the amount of Gross Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in 2019 has reached 106.89 trillion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 it reached 69.37 trillion.

• The economy of NTT in 2019 will grow by 5.20 percent (c-to-c). From the production side, the highest economic growth was achieved by the Manufacturing Industry field of 9.14 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Household Consumption Component of 5.40 percent.

• The economy of NTT in the fourth quarter of 2019 grew by 5.32 percent compared to the same period in 2018 (y-on-y). In terms of business, the highest economic growth was achieved by the Construction business sector at 8.18 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component, which grew by 5.02 percent.

• The economy of NTT in quarter IV-2019 experienced growth of 2.21 percent compared to quarter III-2019 (q-to-q). In terms of business sectors, the highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business sector by 19.46 percent. While in terms of expenditure the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption component of 13.29 percent.
