December 2019 East Nusa Tenggara Inflation 0.80 percent

Abstract

- December 2019 Cities in East Nusa Tenggara experienced inflation of 0.80 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 135.59. The city of Kupang experienced inflation of 0.83 percent while the City of Maumere experienced inflation of 0.63 percent

- December 2019 inflation in East Nusa Tenggara occurred because of an increase in the price index in 6 of 7 expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the largest price index increase was the foodstuffs group which rose by 2.02 percent followed by the transportation group by 1.36 percent.

- During 2019 (January-December 2019), East Nusa Tenggara experienced inflation of 0.67 percent, Kupang City experienced 0.50 percent inflation and Maumere City 1.84 percent.
