Abstract

The total workforce based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in February 2024 was 3.99 million people, an increase of 0.08 million people compared to February 2023. The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) increased by 2.26 percentage points compared to February 2023.
The working population is 2.96 million people, an increase of 0.14 million people from February 2023. The business fields that experienced the largest increase were Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries at 0.04 million people.
A total of 0.07 million people (25.83 percent) worked in formal activities, an increase of 0.98 percentage points compared to February 2023.
The percentage of underemployed increased by 0.27 percentage points, while part-time workers also experienced an increase of 0.72 percentage points compared to February 2023.
The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) for February 2024 was 3.17 percent, an increase of 0.07 percentage points compared to February 2023.
