February 2024 Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) was 97.43, down 0.31 percent when compared to January 2024

Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for February 2024 is based on the calculation of NTP with a base year of 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation covers 5 subsectors, namely rice & crop subsectors, horticulture, community plantation crops, animal husbandry and fisheries.
In February 2024, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP is 97.43 with the NTP of each subsector recorded at 98.76 for the rice-crop sub-sector (NTP-P), 103.52 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 88.57 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTP-TPR); 108.54 for livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 91.88 for fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
There is a decrease of 0.31 percent in February 2024 when compared to NTP January 2024. The decline in the price index was caused by the development of the receiving price index which was lower than the paid price. This decline occurred in all subsectors except the Food Crops and Crops Subsector.
In rural areas, there was inflation of 0.65 percent. This inflation mainly occurs in the food, beverage subgroup
